Replacing the existing fragmented structure, the new town hall consolidates administration, public services, and civic spaces within a compact yet articulated volume. Its form is carefully modulated through setbacks and projections to relate to the surrounding low-rise, green urban fabric and to define adjacent public spaces. A central entrance from the town square leads into an open, vertically connected foyer that serves as the main orientation and communication space. Public functions such as the citizens’ office are located on the ground floor, while administrative departments are organized efficiently across upper levels.

The top floor accommodates representative spaces such as the council chamber and wedding room, with access to landscaped roof terraces offering views over the town. Flexible layouts and a clear structural grid ensure long-term adaptability.

The facade combines large glazed areas at ground level with a timber-clad upper structure, providing transparency, human scale, and effective passive shading. Natural ventilation and simple systems support a low-tech and energy-efficient operation. Green outdoor spaces, integrated with the existing town square and surrounding landscape, enhance public use and reflect the garden-city character. The result is a sustainable, functional, and identity-forming civic building.
