The project replaces the existing school with a new middle school complex including a triple sports hall, outdoor facilities, and spaces for local music groups. In response to the heterogeneous suburban context, the design avoids a monolithic structure and instead proposes a composition of smaller, interconnected volumes integrated into the landscape. The campus is developed in phases, ensuring uninterrupted operation during construction. Sports functions are concentrated in the south, while a shared central schoolyard links the new middle school with the existing high school within a largely car-free environment. Access from the north leads to a central atrium that forms the social and spatial heart, connecting all key functions. The natural slope is used to create a layered sequence of spaces, linking entrance, courtyard, cafeteria, and sports areas.

Classrooms and specialized learning areas are arranged in wings extending into the landscape as “green classrooms.” A compact upper volume organizes the main teaching areas around the atrium, enhancing orientation and community. Circulation zones act as extended learning spaces with strong connections to terraces and outdoor areas. The surrounding landscape forms a continuous green campus with tree groves, open spaces, and pathways linking the site.
