Replacing outdated existing buildings, the new school establishes a modern and flexible framework for primary education. Its terraced structure integrates into the surrounding neighborhood while expressing a distinct architectural identity. The spatial concept supports contemporary pedagogy through open, interconnected learning environments. Circulation areas merge with teaching spaces, and outdoor areas are incorporated as “green classrooms” and retreat spaces, especially for younger students.

At the core of the building, a central communal space forms the social heart, around which functions such as cafeteria, administration, and after-school care are arranged. Upper floors accommodate classrooms and flexible learning zones, connected by open staircases that encourage interaction and orientation.

The schoolyard is designed as a landscaped environment with diverse play and learning areas, linking the school to neighboring educational facilities. Natural materials and a timber-based facade reinforce the architectural concept.

A passive environmental strategy ensures high comfort with minimal technical systems, resulting in a sustainable, robust, and future-oriented school building.
